Janie was licensed and joined the Griffin Realty team in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic of 2020! In spite of that, she was fortunately still able to represent a buying couple with the purchase of their first home in that same year. Janie brings with her experience in interior design and home staging, adding all of this as a complement to her real estate services.
Working with clients to assist them in designing, staging, buying or selling a home that is uniquely theirs is what makes Janie excited about a career in real estate. More than a job, it’s helping people fully enjoy their homes as an extension of themselves.
Bloomington has been her home since 1985, raising two boys here along with her husband Ben, and immersing herself in all that this college town has to offer. Having worked over the years at places like the Monroe County YMCA, First United Methodist Church and the Jacobs School of Music, she has worked with and met some of Bloomington’s finest people. She truly loves this community and hopes to share that with her clients.
While not out working with clients, you can find her walking some of the Bloomington sidewalks and trails, kayaking with her husband at Lake Monroe, practicing yoga, or lately getting really frustrated on the pickleball court.
